Blue
The Call: Vincent — Jessica
Today, I finally went on a field trip with my homeschooling daughter. We went to the National Gallery of Art because I really wanted to see the Pre-Raphaelite show before it ended on Saturday. But imagine my surprise when I turned the corner in the main gallery and saw the Van Goghs!
Response: Blue Earring Cheryl
I still have most of Mom’s jewelry. I never wear it, but if I donned anything, it would likely be these pretty, clip-on earrings (if I could hold out against the pain of pinched earlobes).
I saw an absolutely enormous Monet on my one trip to NYC and MOMA. It’s a slightly surreal feeling, isn’t it?
The key to clip-ons is to slightly pull the back away from the earring so they don’t pinch as hard. The trick is to not make it so loose that it falls off your ear. I know this well because I have lost so many but since I can’t have pierced ears, clip-ons are all I’ve got. I’ve got some weird allergy to any and every type of post. I tried and tried and finally gave up in college and just went with the stupid clip-ons.
Those are very nice, btw, a very lovely soft shade of blue! : )
