The Call: Tri-sled — Jessica
I have a common practice of wandering around my house and saying, “oh my, why in the world is THAT there?” Of course I know the answer is because some child was playing with it and then put it down and left. But still, there have been some very unsual ones that I have tried to wrap my head around: why is the wii remote in the bathroom?, etc., etc.
So this is one of the less bizarre incidents, it’s pretty obvious that some kid (probably the 9 or 6 year old) decided to see what it would be like to sled down the hill on the tricycle. And that’s a steeper incline to get back up the hill than you would think from the picture. I guess whoever did that decided it wasn’t worth hauling the bike back up to try again.
Kids.
Response: Vibrant, Warm Wool Cheryl
Bridget’s fiber-loving aunt gave her this beautiful wool for Christmas, which Bridget will soon spin and knit something wonderful with. For now, on ice-cold days like this, I just want to wrap myself up in that gorgeous pinkness.
Oh, Jessica, I’m right there with you. So often, when I come across THAT?! THERE?!, I can’t — for the life of me — figure out what my kids might have been thinking. I hope your kids are enjoying every moment of their snowy day.
