FOR TODAY
Outside my window: The sun is blazing away and my flowers and pumpkin vines are wilting to nothing. I think I forgot to water them this morning. I hope they survive until the evening.
I am thinking: that Buggy might walk sooner than the others — he’s cruising around the room at 7 1/2 months.
I am thankful for: the pool. The shady pool and cool water!
From the kitchen: Grilled chicken. Not too imaginative — but it works. At least everyone will eat it.
I am creating: a template for this blog. No, really. Why are you laughing?
I am going: to the post office and the pool. Especially the pool.
I am reading: Ctein’s Digital Restoration from Start to Finish. My mother just uploaded a ton of old family pictures to her picasa page so I’ve got lots of great material to practice on!!
I am hoping: that my pumpkin vines survive the heat wave.
I am hearing: Pixie – the King Charles Cavalier is barking at something out the back door. She barks incessantly at times. But she is adorable.
Around the house: as always there are plenty of things to pick up.
One of my favorite things: Pixie, our adorable, but noisy, King Charles Cavalier spaniel.
A few plans for the rest of the week: I hope we will be able to get out and pick some blueberries this week. Other than that we have a date with the dentist for 5 cleanings. Oh boy — that’s gonna be fun.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing: Nothing says “Summer” like a ripe nectarine.
