I got a brand new wonderful lens for my birthday and actually got to try it out this afternoon. I love the bokeh on this lens — it is beautiful, soft and silky. I wish I had tried it a little more in 1:1 macro mode, but since I had the little guy with me I couldn’t really stay in one place long enough to get anything really nice.
So, since I actually got to take quite a few pictures today, I choose this one as my 365 because I really liked the framing of the shot and because this is so much my everyday life. How many times have I been with the younger children in the smaller playground and looked through the equipment to check on the older kids on the bigger playground? Plenty!
Jessica,
I know exactly what you’re talking about. I envy your new lens. The macro I got for Christmas last year did not fare well when my camera fell from my printer. I have yet to get it repaired or buy a new one. In fact, I have yet to decide what I’ll do about it. I find it much easier to think about spending money than to actually spend it.
Ouch! Sorry to hear about that — I’ve lost a laptop (or two) that way. I found my camera on the floor the other day and just about had a heart attack. Luckily it was okay. And then kids were okay too — they lived to see another day.
