Texture Tuesday

and here is the layers palette screen shot. I really did a lot with this image – but it built up bit-by-bit as I thought about what I wanted it to look like and saw where it was actually going. Isn’t is always interesting how our vision of a piece can change when results are different then expected… is that ADD or inspiration? Hmm…

There is also this version — which I really like! It reminds of the our driveway in the fall if we don’t get the leaves raked up right away.

Street photography month is definitely going…at least when I’m not too tired to get out! That was the same problem I had with the night photography…sometimes I’m just a little bit tired. Those are the days you get photos like this:

I’ll be glad when the 365 is done. I don’t like posting bad shots like that…I really want to only post my best but it’s very hard to really do an excellent shot a day. Sometimes I just have to concentrate on cleaning the bathrooms and getting the laundry done. But, I’m shooting through my “volume” of work as Steve Simon calls it. Hopefully seeing some improvement…
