After a long week there is nothing better than unwinding with a little bit of photoshop. : )
This one was quite complex — lots and lots of layers of textures that were all altered in some way before being applied — whether desaturated, inverted, run through the find edges filter or ripped in half and transformed across the vertical…
Have a great weekend! If it doesn’t rain, I will be going on the Fourth annual World Wide Photo Walk tomorrow — my third time out.. : )
Lots of hard work paid off. It looks like a very good drawing.
i admire how much interest you can put into this b/w piece. great!
Nice work.
Regards and best wishes
What an effective editing job! Love how the processing gives an old, painterly feel. Thank you so much for sharing your art at Photo Art Friday.
Fabulous shot. It really does have the feel of an old antique painting. I hope someday to learn all about layering etc…(I’ll need classes for sure).

I really love this! A marvelous portrait!
What a wonderful portrait!! Love how you’ve rendered it painterly!
Beautiful work of art! Hope you get to go on the photo walk. I found one here in PR but opted not to join in…just to much after all our travels. Maybe next year…it sounds like so much fun and a great way to meet new people.
This is an incredible photo. I am completely drawn into India’s eyes. Someday, I would love to know how to do something like this.
I hope it is not raining today and you get a chance to go on your photowalk.
Wow…love the editing process you did. You made it look like it was sketched with charcoal. What an adorable dog.
