Yesterday was the second “Day in the Life” shoot for the DILO community on G+. It’s a fun a little group that I just stumbled on — check it out and see if you may be interested. I’ve decided that the communities on G+ are the best way to sort of dip your toes into that network and start to put together how it works.
I’m editing the shots right now and I’ve whittled the selections down to twenty from the 223 that I shot. Now, I need to drop about 12-15 more before I’ll post the album on the site. I’m hoping to finish that by tonight.
I decided to do a “day in the life” of the light in my house. So, the pictures are a bit different. I basically kept my camera in hand all day and as I walked around doing the things I normally do (laundry, dust, collect socks off of the floor) if I came across light that was pretty, interesting, or unusual, I’d try to find a way to capture it. In my mind I was creating a sketchbook of the light in my house. I’m excited to share the results. There are some very pretty shots in this bunch and, honestly, it’s going to be hard to cull those 12-15!
