It is late Friday evening as I finally get a chance to sit down and write this. I’d like to play along on more link-ups — it’s just finding the time to get the posts written, you know? It’s easy enough to snap pictures through out the day, especially since my phone is always nearby. It’s much harder to sit down and put words to the pictures.
So here are three (because seven and five are just too much for me!) lovely shots of the late summer sun. It’s still so glorious and warm it tinges all the colors with that golden hour hue. Just lovely, lovely stuff!
{PS: Please ignore the dust on my dresser — I have no excuse for it except that I didn’t get to the dusting this week… : ) }
Your post reminds me of my Sitting Still post. I still think we were separated. Anyhow, I know what you mean about these summer days and that light and trying to find the time to write the posts and dusting …
Your photos are lovely. Those translucent leaves make me sigh, and the red door with the bicycle just has “classic” written all over it.
You are right about that post. THAT (sitting still) should be the very definition of summer – relaxing and soaking up sunshine and pondering. Thanks for the compliments! : )
