My blogging classmates and I had a little hangout last week and boy was it fun!
A couple of weeks ago I had a crazy little idea. It was one of those ideas that at first makes you super excited and then terrifies you with “what have I done???” self-doubts.
I mentioned to some of the other ladies in the reflections of you course that it would be fun to do a Google hangout together. Everyone was very enthusiastic and we quickly agreed on a date and time. It was then that I realized that I had to actually figure out HOW to have a google hangout and explain to everyone else what to do. Oh my!
A couple of days later we managed to pull it off. I had hoped to get some pictures of us chatting for instagram. However, the two year barged into the room where I was “hanging out” and dealing with him and the technical stuff meant no pictues (and a frazzled mom!).
But it was so much fun that we all agreed that we would have to do it again. And so, we are!
And here is the really super cool part!

I know that is really short notice but sometimes things move fast, you know?
Eight lucky people will be able to take part in the hangout with Kim and ask questions. Everyone else will be able to watch it live and interact via twitter or some other chat format.

I have a web cam … just have to find it but not to worry. I’m on the west coast (Canada) so my time zone is PDT right now and that means this will happen at 8AM … Yikes! It might take me a few minutes to wake up but I’m in if you’ll have me.
