What are you watching on YouTube? I subscribe to quite a few channels but these three, well, I get a thrill up my leg when I get a notification that a new episode is out.
1. The Art of Photography — Ted Forbes is awesome! Always educational, from historical film processes to famous photographers to style and technique. I always feel smarter after watching one of his shows.
2. The Candid Frame — Add a photo to the Candid Frame group on flickr and it may end up in Ibarionex Perello’s videocast. Using group photos, he covers all kinds of topics from color to character and while the topic is usually street photography-centric, it’s always informative. And anyway, Ibarionex could read the phone book and I’d still listen — hands down the best podcast voice ever!
3. B & H Photography — Skip the product reviews unless you’re a gear head. But stay for the talks and demonstrations. I really like the Adam Marelli one on composition. This one on trends in fine art photography was interesting too.
i still read your posts and follow you, but life is moving at the speed of LIFE and I don’t always take the time to comment. Have a great weekend!
Thanks, Karen! I know exactly what you mean and I really appreciate your comments. Your work on Flickr is just getting better and better. Peace, my friend.
It has never occurred to me to subscribe to a Youtube channel. I don’t know if I’d have the patience to sit down and watch regularly.
