Well hello there Mr. & Mrs. Purple Finch!

I am so excited that we are finally starting to get some visitors to our new bird feeder. Of course they couldn’t have come during March so I could have contributed more to Jill’s adorable Tweeter Board but I’m still so happy they are finally coming to see us that I think I will forgive them.

Mr. & Mrs. Goldfinch never have to say they’re sorry because they are just so beautiful! Isn’t that yellow and black outfit sharp?

What’s even better though, is that I finally managed to have my camera handy when they were feeding. I really wish I’d had a long lens, but the Lensbaby got the job done. And I don’t think Mr. Tufted Titmouse was put out at all by me getting in as close as I did.
